Meridian offers many different types of extraction systems depending on type of fuel used or on-site requirements. The main purpose of extract systems is conveying fuel from a storage area to a subsequent fuel intermediate hopper and subsequently to the boiler.

Sweep Arm Agitators

The sweep-arm agitator is a load depending pressure plate. The substantial sweep-arm is independently powered from the auger and operates depending on the amount of fuel inside the fuel store, with variable diameters.

Pellets Fuel

Filling Height- 5 meters
Typical application- With pellets boilers up to 1,000 kW nominal capacity

Modular Walking Floor

Extremely robust, welded steel grid with a hydraulic ram. The walking floor is pushed by the hydraulic ram into the fuel along the fuel store floor and pulls the fuel towards the subsequent transport system at the front end of the walking floor.
This modular walking floor has a size of 2 x 2 m. It is equipped with one bar. The maximum fuel storage size is approx. 20 m3. The side walls can be built sloping, but the maximum angle of incline is 40 degrees. Two of the walls must always be vertical to prevent bridging of the fuel.

This way the fuel storage filling intervals become longer even in bigger bio heating systems. The side walls can be built sloping or vertical.

Push Rod Discharge Walking Floor

The floor discharger is based on the same technology as the Walking Floor Units, but our walking floors don’t use Hydraulics and are all electric drive via a robust Rack & Pin drive. The dischargers must be assembled together with the casting work. The number and length of the rakes is variable, making the floor discharger ideal for different storage solutions. The base area of the floor discharger storages can vary between 7,5 – 40 m2. The capacity of the storage can be up to 200 m3.
